Brookside Gardens
Today was really the first nice, warm day of the year. So we headed out to the zoo. Well, the zoo was packed - there were NO parking spaces. They actually turned us away. So we headed over to Brookside Gardens for a picnic. Except they don't allow picnics. So we had to make our own picnic in the parking lot.

Megan's new camera
Megan got a new camera for Easter. She loves it - she's already taken over 350 pictures in just about a week. Most, of course, are of blank walls and the floor. But some of them are decent - and give a little insight into the way she sees the world. Here are a few of the best ones:

Pee pee in the potty!!!!!!
((( HAPPY DANCE )))!
Megan went pee pee in the potty for the first time tonight. She was in the bathtub, and stood up and said "uh oh". Rob asked if she needed to go potty and put her on the little potty we have in that bathroom. And she DID it! She was so proud of herself. She got up and looked at it and exclaimed "it's yellow!" It was pretty funny. Then she did an actual happy dance.
Hopefully that will be the jumpstart she needs to get this potty training thing going. She's really had no interest at all, and hasn't even gone by accident. So I'm optimistic that now she knows "how" to do it, she'll do it more often.
I can't believe that my little girl is growing up so fast.....

Closer to walking
Kate is getting so close! She walks when you hold her hands, and now pushes her walking toy. She just doesn't have the confidence to stand on her own yet. But she's definitely getting there.
