Sick, New bed, halloween costume

We're sick. Well, Rob's been diagnosed with the flu officially. I'm starting to feel crappy. The girls seem to just have slight symptoms/colds - not flu yet. But, regardless, we had to cancel our trip up to Sherborn to visit Grandma & Grandpa. Yuck. It's been rescheduled, but we're still a bit disappointed.
In other, fun news -

Kate is now in a big girl bed! Well, a mattress, the bed is on backorder. But the crib's gone and she's been sleeping there for over a week. It's going really well. She looks so tiny in there, though:

Megan tried on her halloween costume yesterday (minus the leotard and tights - she put it on over her jeans and t-shirt).

And, of course, Kate had to get into the mix:

My friend and I were recently discussing about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about almost every day.
